BELHAUS is a contemporary artist-run gallery where you can discover and collect original artwork from local and international, emerging and established artists. we’ve curated a selection of affordable, original work of the highest quality and have established two welcoming art spaces in phoenix, BELHAUS and aftermarket—both tastefully curated and always pretense free.

since opening in 2018, our mission has been to make collecting art more accessible, and approachable. partnering with anthony fiorelli [caffio espresso] made all that possible, as we were able to, with a little convincing, convert part of our then studio inside bragg’s pie factory into an underground, public-facing gallery/caffè open limited hours. if you know you know, was the motto…and it kind of still is ;)

after a two-year hiatus through the pandemic, belassen and fiorelli reconnected and rebranded the space as aftermarket. the neutral name connects belassen’s debut solo (“the after-afterparty” inside framed ewe) with caffio espresso’s italian vespa aesthetic, with the fact that the space is the original parking garage of the historic bragg’s pie factory from 1947. the goal: to approach the concept as our gift shop and all-day caffè.

having felt the gallery quickly outgrowing the downtown aftermarket space, belassen sensed a change of scenery was inevitable. and it eventually presented itself back to where it all started ~ inside framed ewe in uptown phoenix.
